AFHL Monthly Wrap-Up – November

U18 AAA
After two months of play, the U18 AAA standings are:

1) Edmonton Pandas (37 pts)
2) Calgary Fire (29 pts)
3) St. Albert Bauer Slash (25 pts)
4) Lloydminster PWM Steelers (21 pts)
5) Red Deer Sutter Fund Chiefs (18 pts)
6) Rocky Mountain Raiders (5 pts)

Cassidy Rhodes has continued her phenomenal start to the season, amassing 16 points in 13 games for the Edmonton Pandas. Her eight goals are also tied for the league lead with Jazbey Hrynyk of the Lloydminster PWM Steelers.

Pandas goaltender Lindsey Johnson added another shutout to her 8-0-0 record to put her at 6, while only allowing two goals so far on the season. Right behind Johnson is Lloydminster PWM Steelers goalie Ridleigh Hansen, who is also putting up solid numbers with a 0.961 SV% and 1.38 GAA.

As November comes to a close, the U18AA standings are:

Sophy Aldred of Calgary Fire White is still leads the league in points with 15, and has taken over the solo goal scoring lead with nine. Rory Bothwell of the Sherwood Park Fury is second in league points with 13.

Ryleigh Schmuland of the Pandas and Olivia Towpich of Calgary Fire Red are nearly neck and neck in the goaltending department, as Schmuland is sporting a 1.24 GAA, 0.942 SV%, and two shutouts through six games, while Towpich has a 1.33 GAA, 0.944 SV% and one shutout through three starts.

Heading into December, the U15 AA standings are:

St. Albert Sharks forward Paige Smith is still at the top of the leaderboard with an astounding 29 points in 12 games. Following her are teammate Aubrey Sanderson with 22 points in 12 games and Emelia McDermid of Olds, who has 21 points in nine games.

Gabriella Meger is currently setting the pace for goaltenders in GAA (1.17) and SV% (0.948) to go with one shutout.
