RED DEER – The schedules for the three divisions of the Alberta Female Hockey League (AFHL) U18 AAA, U18 AA and U15 AA were released today on their respective websites.
For the U18 AAA division, exhibition games will begin on October 17th with the regular season kicking off October 30th. The U18 AA and U15 AA divisions have exhibition games starting on October 30th with regular season beginning November 30th .
The U18 AAA and U15 AA divisions split teams into North and South groups. Teams will play six games against a team in their respective North/South group and four games against a team from the opposite North/South group. Each of the game series will be followed immediately by a 14 day team development window. At the end of the 14 days the teams will move on to play the next team.
Each U18 AA team will play four games on back to back weekends against their “sister team”. Following completion of the second weekend of play, each team will have a 14 day development window. At the end of the 14 days the teams will move on to play their next “sister team”.
