RED DEER – Two AFHL champions will be crowned this weekend in Red Deer and St. Albert for the Bantam Elite and Midget AAA divisions at the Hockey Alberta Provincial Championships, presented by ATB Financial.
The Bantam Elite Provincial Championships in Red Deer will feature five teams: The Red Deer Chiefs, Calgary Fire Red, Calgary Fire White, North Central Impact, and Lloydminster Steelers. The tournament is set to begin at 10:00AM on Thursday, with the gold medal game taking place at 11:45AM on Sunday at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre. FULL SCHEDULE >
The Midget AAA Provincial Championships in St. Albert will feature four teams: The St. Albert Slash, Red Deer Chiefs, Lloydminster Steelers, and Calgary Fire. The tournament will begin at 9:00AM on Friday with Calgary facing off against Lloydminster. The gold medal game will take place on Sunday at 1:00PM at the Go Auto Arena in Servus Credit Union Place.
